The western part of Normandy, home of the painter JF Millet and writer J. Barbey d'Aurevilly, a little away from traditional channels, will seduce you with its scenery, its rugged coastline. Jacques Prévert fell in love with it and settled there in 1970.

The Hague with the Nez de Jobourg,Port Racine (smallest port in France), Goury and Le Cap de la Hague : these names evoke a pristine wilderness.

The Val de Saire, with pretty ports such as Barfleur and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, is full of history, come and find out.

All along the coast is the "Sentier des douaniers" for good walkers, it's a great way to explore this region.
